Come to the water

Many Christian churches re-affirm baptism on Easter Day and/or throughout the Easter season. Here is some beautiful photography of a winsome way to do it! The Anglican parish of Noosa, in Queensland, Australia, head to the beach for celebration early on Easter Sunday, and for the renewal of their baptismal vows, wade into water, feet wet. Please find here also the order of service for their morning prayer.

Thanks to Mark Calder, pastor of the Noosa Anglican community, for permission to use the order and for photos from the Noosa Anglican Facebook page. Also to Michael Calder, ordinand at St. Francis College, Brisbane, for introducing me to this refreshing tradition of Easter liturgy --Stephen Burns.
